We have conducted laboratory testing of byproduct material from mining activity done outside the U.S. Testing has been performed by two contracted, independent, third-party U.S. university labs, overseen by some of America’s top outside scientists in the field (and CMI Members). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Initial test results indicated that the byproduct will provide an abundant and steady supply of many rare earth elements, along with potentially other critical materials such as platinum and palladium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are now initiating a more definitive, in-depth study with expanded geologic and geographic sampling. That work will enable a more precise assessment of supply and prospective economic value. After that will come a pilot plant operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Though the presence of rare earth elements and other critical materials as a mining byproduct is not unique, most importantly, we expect to solve the greatest challenge of economically and environmentally-responsibly extracting and separating them, thus enabling the development of a large scale, continuous commercial supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, we welcome indications of interest from accredited investors or industrial and governmental purchasers for possible future supply contracting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
